The research employs a Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the spiral model by Kemmis and McTaggart, conducted over two cycles. The subjects were 20 children in group B, aged 5–6 years. Data were collected through participatory observation using cooperation skill indicators, documentation, and field notes, and were analyzed descriptively using both quantitative and qualitative approaches. The results showed an increase in children's cooperation skills from 35% in the pre-cycle phase to 63% in the first cycle, and further to 91% in the second cycle. Improved cooperation indicators included the ability to share, take turns, help peers, follow rules, and communicate effectively within a group. These findings indicate that Gobak Sodor is an effective and culturally rooted learning medium for fostering social development in early childhood education. The study implies that early childhood educators should integrate traditional games into learning activities to promote cooperative behavior, empathy, and social communication. Teachers are also encouraged to actively guide and reflect on the play process to maximize social development outcomes.
2025-10-31T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Awladuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dinihttps://mail.ejournal.darunnajah.ac.id/index.php/awladuna/article/view/308THE EFFECTIVENESS OF SINGING METHODS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF SPEAKING SKILLS 2026-01-08T15:42:22+07:00Resti Marsela restireskimarsela@gmail.comYuniartireskimarsela@gmail.com
aims to determine the speaking ability of group A children aged 4-5 years with the singing method at Aisyiyah Bustanul Atfal 3 Kindergarten, Sintang Regency. The background of the study is based on the importance of stimulating fine motor development in early childhood, who are in the golden age period where finger coordination, wrist movement, and manipulative skills are crucial to support learning readiness at the next level. The research method employed was Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and Taggart model, carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 17 children, consisting of 8 boys and 9 girls. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and field notes, then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively to examine the development of children’s fine motor skills. The findings revealed a significant improvement after the application of bottle cap media, where in the pre-cycle the average mastery level was only 45.9%, increasing to 70.8% in the first cycle, and reaching 99.9% in the second cycle, which exceeded the success indicator of 80%. This improvement was reflected in the children’s ability to classify, arrange, and manipulate bottle caps effectively, indicating optimal development of their fine motor skills. Thus, the use of bottle cap media proved to be effective in enhancing the fine motor abilities of early childhood learners. This study implies that teachers can utilize simple, inexpensive, yet creative media such as bottle caps to create engaging, meaningful, and enjoyable learning experiences that support children’s holistic growth and development.
2026-01-31T14:18:58+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Awladuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dinihttps://mail.ejournal.darunnajah.ac.id/index.php/awladuna/article/view/763'LEADERS ARE HEROES': UNDERSTANDING THE DEFINITION OF A LEADER EARLY CHILDHOOD PERSPECTIVE2026-01-31T15:49:37+07:00Fitria Ulfahfitria.ulfah@unisba.ac.id
This study aims to reveal that early childhood has a perspective related to leadership, which is interpreted differently depending on the child's perspective. The method in this study is a focused ethnography conducted for approximately 2 months. The research subjects were all students in groups A and B of Candra Kindergarten-Bandung. Data collection techniques used observation and semi-formal interviews with children. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique used a grounded theory approach. The study illustrates that early childhood has its own perspective regarding leaders, but children do not define leaders in a segregated manner, that leaders are male or female. Children define leaders with adjectives such as "Jagoan".
2026-01-31T15:49:37+07:00Copyright (c) 2025 Awladuna: Jurnal Pendidikan Islam Anak Usia Dini
