However, their implementations frequently rely on routers left in factory-default configurations, creating severe security vulnerabilities. Common weaknesses include unchanged default credentials, outdated firmware, weak Wi-Fi encryption, enabled remote management, and lack of network segmentation—conditions that greatly increase risks of unauthorized access, bandwidth theft, DNS hijacking, and data interception.

This study evaluates router configuration vulnerabilities across five RT/RW Net regions in Indonesia using a case study approach involving direct configuration analysis, operator interviews, and risk assessment based on IEEE 802.11 and NIST SP 800-153 frameworks. Findings reveal that 66% of routers still use default credentials, 54% rely on legacy WEP/WPA encryption, and 80% lack firmware updates. Furthermore, 40% of routers expose administrative ports without additional authentication.

The study proposes a three-tier security framework—basic, intermediate, and advanced protection—to help operators strengthen network resilience. The results contribute to improving community network security practices while providing academic enrichment in the field of micro-community network protection.
2025-12-23T00:00:00+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://mail.ejournal.darunnajah.ac.id/index.php/joistech/article/view/726 IoT-Based Smart Technology Modeling for Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School for Plantation Management 2025-12-23T11:40:09+07:00 Wahyu Joko Saputro wahyujs@darunnajah.ac.id Bayu Andika Simamora matbakh04@gmail.com
Modern plantation management requires an accurate, responsive, and efficient monitoring system to increase
crop productivity. One of the problems
often encountered in classrooms is the use of inefficient lights, such as lights left on even when not in use or late turning
off the lights after learning activities are finished. This study aims to design and implement a sound sensor-based
automatic light switch system using a Wemos D1 R32 microcontroller in a classroom. This system is designed to detect
certain voice commands, such as clapping or sound intensity at a certain threshold, which are then processed by the
microcontroller to control the condition of the lights (on or off). The research method used is Research and
Development (R&D), which includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, hardware and software development,
testing, and system performance evaluation. The sound sensor is used as the main input to detect audio signals from the
environment, while the Wemos D1 R32 functions as a control center that processes data and activates relays as light
switches. The test results show that the system is able to respond to voice commands with a good success rate in
relatively normal classroom environmental conditions. The implementation of this system contributes to increasing the
efficiency of electrical energy use in classrooms and provides convenience for users without having to directly contact
manual switches. Furthermore, this system also supports technology-based learning concepts and can be used as a
practical learning medium for students in electronics and IoT. Therefore, the implementation of a sound sensor-based
automatic light switch using the Wemos D1 R32 is expected to be an innovative solution for managing educational
facilities more intelligently and sustainably
2025-12-23T00:00:00+07:00 ##submission.copyrightStatement## https://mail.ejournal.darunnajah.ac.id/index.php/joistech/article/view/765 Improving Cuangki Meatballs Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Using Online Website-Based Digital Technology 2026-01-24T16:19:50+07:00 Alfiando Umarella alfiandou@gmail.com Wahyu Joko Saputro wahyujs@darunnajah.ac.id
Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an economic sector that significantly contributes to national economic growth, particularly in job creation and strengthening local economies. However, the development of digital technology and changes in consumer behavior require MSMEs to adapt to remain competitive. One of the main challenges faced by MSMEs, particularly in the culinary sector, is limitations in marketing, market reach, and customer information management. The Meatballs Cuangki MSME, as part of a traditional culinary business, has significant market potential, but many businesses still rely on conventional marketing methods, making it difficult to compete in the digital era.
